Rescuing Veterans Lost in America Dinner

Eavenson Law was a proud sponsor of the National Veterans Homeless Support's 5th Annual "Rescuing Veterans Lost in America Dinner," hosted by Brevard County's Constitutional Officers, including Eavenson Law's amazing clients, the Honorable Dana Blickley, Brevard County's Property Appraiser, and the Honorable Lisa Cullen, Brevard County's Tax Collector.

The dinner raised awareness for the plight to combat homelessness among Florida's Veterans and also raised a substantial amount of money to help transition homeless Veterans back into society through NVHS's "search and rescue" operation.

United States Senator, Rick Scott, joined the festivities as the keynote speaker, warming hearts and minds with his genuine and sincere conversation regarding his military service and the debt of gratitude he owes to all those who have served and are currently serving in the armed forces.

United Way Post Hurricane Maria Panel

Upon learning of the devastation to Puerto Rico by Hurricane Maria, Brevard County utilized its strongest commodities, our beloved community, our community leaders and the passion to do the right thing even when no one is looking.

United Way stepped into action, forming a panel of community organizations and its leaders to ensure Brevard County was not only ready for the influx of Puerto Ricans arriving in our county as a result of the hurricane damage but also to serve the people remaining on the island, dealing with everyday struggles.

Attorney Eavenson, as a Spanish-speaking lawyer, experienced Guardian ad Litem, and staunch advocate for Puerto Rico, was asked to participate in United Way's leadership panel to provide insight and ideas and propel Brevard County as a beacon for hope, acceptance, and community in a time of despair and confusion.

Interpretation for Team PR for Women's World Cup of Baseball

Attorney Eavenson was asked last-minute by the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce to gather Spanish-speaking interpreters for the Women's World Cup of Baseball, held in Viera, Florida.

A number of Spanish-only speaking teams were playing in the World Cup and the language barrier was palpable. Trizia was able to provide numerous Spanish interpreters for all the teams, during the entire duration of the World Cup, with Trizia acting as an interpreter many times herself, particularly for Team Puerto Rico.

Trizia became very good friends with the coaches and players of Team Puerto Rico, creating a non-profit for former MLB player, Orlando Merced, and assisting players with legal issues they were facing.

Trizia's son, Enrico Giovanni, even was given the high honor of presenting the American flag during the anthem ceremony.

Right after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, Trizia quickly jumped into gear to begin recovery efforts.

Thanks to the incredible personal and professional relationships Attorney Eavenson has cultivated over the years, she was able to rely on close friends to help both the island of Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans fleeing to Florida.

Thanks to the generosity of Ray Rodriguez and Michelle Rodriguez Chao, along with their charity, The Rodriguez Foundation, over 300 cases of fresh water were donated from their McDonald's locations to hydrate the men, women and children of Puerto Rico who were seeking shelter and assistance at Operation Hope, operated by the benevolent Jesse and Jann Zermeno.

Brevard County is blessed to have folks like the Rodriguez family, like Michael Cadore, who brought strong, young men to help load and unload the truck, and Frank DiBello, CEO of Space Florida, for donating the truck that traveled far distances that day.

Passion Show

Attorney Eavenson loves to volunteer her time with children of all ages to instill confidence, a sense of humor and self-love.

When her good friends Jarvis Wash and Charlotte Perkins asked Trizia to come speak to their summer camp kids about standing tall and modeling clothes, she jumped at the opportunity.

Faced with stores refusing to lend new clothes to the summer camp kids for their fashion show, and possibly having to cancel the fashion show,

Trizia introduced the idea of a "Passion Show," where the kids would wear their favorite outfits to truly allow their confidence and self-love to shine.

The "Passion Show Fashion Show" was a huge success and children who rarely smiled, ended up grinning ear to ear, due to the love, acceptance, joy and levity in the beautiful, historic church where it was held.

"Young Queens & Awareness" - Featured guest speaker for mentorship event featuring four professional women providing "real" talk to over 50 young women, all under the age of 18.

The "Young Queens and Awareness" leadership event held in May 2019 was a huge success in teaching young women how to prepare for life.

Held by Magnus Solutions, Cierra Cadore hosted over 50 young women under the age of 18 to hear four speakers discussing various types of "Awareness." Attorney Eavenson explored "self-awareness."

By showing how to engage in a proper handshake, how our body language communicates more than the actual words spoken, that levity and laughter can get us through anything, and that heat, pressure and friction can either crush us or make us a diamond, Trizia revealed the true secret is to "Be The Diamond" and to polish yourself up to shine.

Attorney Eavenson and Michael Cadore of Magnus Solutions held a "Boys, Books, and Barbers" event at Golfview Elementary School where selected students received free haircuts on picture day while they read a book to a volunteer barber during their haircut. This was an amazing mentorship initiative.

These wonderful, artistic barbers helped the boys with words that appeared difficult to read and also shared their relatable life stories to these blossoming young boys.

At the end of the day, everyone had smiles from ear to ear, the boys looks so fresh and so clean, and the barbers felt a sense of pride of not only a job well done but also paying it forward.

Look for the next Boys, Books, and Barbers event soon!
